Coach Ken Whisenhunt admitted that he doesn't "particularly" want Hightower catching so many balls, but he doesn't mind using those receptions as extended runs. Until the vertical game gets fixed, expect Hightower to continue to rack up catches.

Hightower's thumb injury isn't supposed to threaten his status for Week 13, but certainly may affect his role as a dump-off receiver. He should be on fantasy benches as Arizona prepares for Minnesota's No. 2 run defense. December 2

It's also unlikely that a thumb injury would cause him to be inactive, but Chris Wells is still a good bet to lead Arizona in touches. Hightower could see fewer looks in the passing game if he didn't catch the ball well in practice this week.
